Go Go Bird

A new fried chicken is in town! This recently opened Hollywood pop-up is Go Go Bird, run by Brandon Kida, the chef at Hinoki + The Bird. The star of this new spot is chicken - it’s brined in white soy, paprika, and a spice blend involving kombu, shiitake and bonito powder - then fried in Szechuan chili oil.

You can also order their tasty mashed potatoes and curry gravy, and the fries doused with furikake, and the cheddar biscuits with honey miso butter - they are absolutely tremendous.
